C. Michael SmithC. Michael Smith, Ph.D. (aka, Mikkal) is a clinical psychologist, medical anthropologist, and an international shamanic teacher who has been working on four continents during the past six years. He is director of Crows Nest Centers for Shamanic Studies International, with communities in France, Belgium, South Africa, and the USA. He is author of “Psychotherapy and the Sacred”, and “Jung and Shamanism in Dialogue”. In July 2012 he was the keynote speaker for the International Conference on Amazonian Shamanism, in Iquitos, Peru. In addition to directing Crows Nest International he has lectured and taught on Jungian psychology and shamanism at the University of Chicago, the Chicago Theological Seminary, for the Institute Ressources (NLP) in Bruxelles, Belgium, and currently teaches for the Cercle de Sagesse Ancestrale de l’Union, in Paris, France.
