Dave is the visionary behind The Turtle Lodge the First Nation’s Center for Learning and Healing in Sagkeeng, Manitoba, Canada. A documentary about his vision and journey The 8th Fire made by Cindy and Andy Pickard premiered October 13, 2007 in Austin, Texas.
