I'm struck with the idea of identity and the need for validation, this interview has given me much to think on, I need a little quiet time to absorb it all...wow, this is a great interview! Telling the story is of utmost importance, I found the truth of this in my own experiences (I have PTSD) and am still healing. The truths need to be exposed...I think all of us need to tell our stories and encourage others to do so.
Thank you for sharing this.

Hello!
Can I contact Juliet Casimiro e-mail? We're going to Mexico in November (from Russia). Suppose to be in Huautla de Jimenez November 8 and 9. We want to take part in the ceremony curandero for spiritual practice of cleansing. How is it possible to agree with her about this?
Thanks

A profound interview. In the spirit of council, it leaves me with this question:
"How might I continue to heal the split between my comfort creature self and my earth-loving self?"
Thank you, Deena and Joanna.
Graces,
James

Joanna, I was casually browsing through your archive and decided to listen to this talk, that I obviously missed last year. You know, I really think what Riki is communicating here is arguably in many respects possibly the most important message you have on record. This is superb stuff. I would not wish to tempt fate nor project my opinion on anyone, but seriously, she should be running for President of the United States! Thanks so much, this is just a trove of wise and realistic ideas - spot-on thinking in my estimation, splendid, says it all...

Maurice Merleau-Ponty (March 14, 1908 May 3, 1961) was a French phenomenological philosopher. At the core of Merleau-Ponty's philosophy is a sustained argument for the foundational role that perception plays in understanding the world as well as engaging with the world. Like the other major phenomenologists Merleau-Ponty expressed his philosophical insights in writings on art, literature, linguistics, and politics; however Merleau-Ponty was the only major phenomenologist of the first half of the Twentieth Century to engage extensively with the sciences, and especially with descriptive psychology. Because of this engagement, his writings have become influential with the recent project of naturalizing phenomenology in which phenomenologists utilize the results of psychology and cognitive science.
