Remembering Eternity

an interview with Richard Maddox

In this week’s episode Richard Maddox speaks with Joanna: bridging the gap between mystical wisdom and the context of the modern world; what is enlightenment?; remembering the background of consciousness; a modern hero’s journey; our precious human essence; there is no separation; the Mystery shining through all forms; dyeing the cloth of the mind; the urge of the human soul; art as a mediation to higher consciousness; the merging of two infinities;; gaining a deeper identity.

Richard Dietrich Maddox grew up in the Midwestern United States and graduated with honors from Princeton University. After graduation he spent five years in Europe studying literature and preparing to teach meditation. He then taught meditation for two more years, before serving as the Vice President of Sales for seven successful high-tech startup companies. In 2005, he retired from the business world to concentrate on writing. Richard Maddox spent most of his life preparing to write “Remembering Eternity”,  his epic nine-volume enlightenment novel. The series tells the fascinating story of a modern soul’s search for enlightenment, for that most elusive of goals, perfect and permanent joy.
