Dear Joanna, this was a most engaging talk, replete with a quality of wisdom reflective of the curious way that enlightened and enlightening insight can so often be communicated almost unconsciously, through inspired spontaneity. I should be interested to hear a third talk after Richard publishes Darwin’s Pharmacy, as it would be intriguing to hear his thoughts on William James’ wonderful understanding of the power of visionary experience and its essentially holistic function in philosophical discourse. Also, I cannot help but speculate whether Richard has ever considered the influence of James Joyce on the shaping of our rhetorical understanding in relation to the unconscious. Further, with respect to genetic analogues/dialogues – I don’t believe you have ever interviewed the remarkable biophysicist Mae-Wan Ho. I am sure her illuminating approach to “quantum jazz biology” would be of deep interest to many of your listeners. Please keep up the good work! Eco-literate entanglements with “eco-delicacies” are the most profoundly erotic and seductive area of mystical inquiry, utterly delightful to share, especially when invested with the sacred devotion that all such ineffable experience evokes and endows…kindest from me, David
